I read the Chevalier book last year and enjoyed it immensely -- great descriptions of the tapestries and the process of producing them (the dyes, fibers, etc.), along with plenty of involvement in the characters' lives to keep it all interesting. It's great to read of your experience seeing the tapestries; I'd love to see them.

What a wonderful discovery full of color, creativity and history! I love your discription of both La Dame a la licorne and your personal sense of wonder and appreciation. After two months of exploring Paris, you are still finding new treasures.
